AlgoBot is a software platform that connects to your personal Upstox brokerage account via the official Upstox API and automatically places, monitors, and manages options orders according to strategies and risk parameters that you configure. The Service includes:
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to trade in derivatives in your jurisdiction. You must hold a valid, active Upstox trading account in your own name to use live-trading features. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including those of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the rules of NSE/BSE.
By using AlgoBot, you acknowledge and agree that:
AlgoBot is not a broker, dealer, exchange, or custodian. We do not hold your funds or securities. All orders are placed directly through Upstox Securities Pvt. Ltd. using the official Upstox API, under the brokerage agreement between you and Upstox. Your relationship with Upstox — including margin requirements, brokerage fees, settlement, and fund transfers — is governed entirely by Upstox's own terms, independent of AlgoBot.
AlgoBot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Upstox. "Upstox" is a trademark of its respective owner, referenced here solely to describe integration functionality.

Nothing in the Service constitutes investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. AlgoBot's strategies, signals, option-chain analysis, and any displayed scores or signals (e.g., bullish/bearish bias) are algorithmic outputs based on technical indicators and market data — they are not recommendations to buy or sell any security. We are not a registered investment adviser. Consult a qualified, SEBI-registered financial advisor before making investment decisions.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or real-time operation of the Service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Upstox, internet providers, hosting infrastructure), or unforeseen technical issues may interrupt trading. We are not liable for losses arising from any Service downtime or delay.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlgoBot and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including trading losses, lost profits, or data loss — arising from your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Any subscription or usage fees for AlgoBot, if applicable, will be disclosed at the time of signup or upgrade. Brokerage, exchange, and statutory charges levied by Upstox or regulatory bodies are separate from and not controlled by AlgoBot.
You may stop using the Service and disconnect your Upstox account at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or pose a security risk to the platform, with or without notice.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
